Well thought I should get into the practice of getting on here and blogging. So here I am.

This week has been filled with my workmates asking about the licence 2 test Drive, as I am the first person here that has registered. Most of the questions were along the lines of is it hard to do? and how long did it take you?

I must admit I did find it a little overwhelming to see how many links I would have to follow, but once I started reading the blog properly I realised it's all a matter of personal preference and also the time I have available does limit the amount I can search and look at some of these links.

Today I have also started "following" another blog, and uploaded a photo onto my profile. So three cheers for me!!!

Optional Task

I have just had a very brief look at the 'Technorati' site and am amazed at the amount of people blogging, and also the amount of people looking at the blogs. At this stage I haven't had a huge opportunity to look at any of these 'popular' blog sites, but is on my to-do list.

I also had a quick look at Gold Coast's blog they have, and was very impressed. I really liked the thought that patrons to the library can look at staff book reviews and see what has been going on in the library. With more and more people using the internet to get onto our catalogue I think this is an excellent idea, and would probably be a very popular tool to get information out to the public.

Lets get this started...

This is my first Blog EVER, so here goes.

Well setting up my blog space was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Hopefully if everything continues this way I will be able to pass through this Libray 2.0 course with flying colours. I am hoping this course will make me a little more familiar with sites that I either have not accessed before or have spent limited time looking at.

I haven't looked at many blogs before so I hope I'm on the right track. I think after I have finished this blog I'll go and have a search and see what I can do to make it more interesting, and appealing.
